Accountant III (24514)

Our client is a large global manufacturing company that is growing and they are looking for an Accountant III to join their team.  With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization.  The company boasts a team-oriented culture, great benefits and provides its’ employees with the tools and training necessary to succeed.

The Accountant III will work with the Operations Accounting team and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


  • The Accountant III will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.

  • Maintain specific equipment costs, including production order variances and work with production management to identify root causes of variances. Develop action plans for minimizing future variances.

  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.

  • Partner with key members of the organization in Make vs Buy analysis.

  • Assist with the monthly and/or quarterly close process.

  • Assist with overseeing supply chain budget and forecast.

  • Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

  • The Accountant III will assist with other special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Accountant III will possess the following:


  • The Accountant III will have 1-3 years’ accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the company.

  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP software a plus.

  • The Accountant III will have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • CPA preferred.
