Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will ensure the integrity of the company’s accounting information. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


Responsibilities:

  • The Accounting Manager will record and analyze the company’s financial information and ensure it’s done in a timely manner.
  • Manage the monthly close process and financial reporting and analysis.
  • Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, accounts payable and payroll.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute annual financial audit.
  • Collect, analyze, and record data to determine the cost of business activities.
  • Maintain detailed financial budgeting and forecasting models and drive the process organizationally.
  • Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
  • Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
  • Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls.
  • Coordinate with operations team to value inventory.
  • The Accounting Manager will perform other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:


Requirements

  • The Accounting Manager will have 4+ years’ applied accounting experience. Experience with financial reporting in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statements, job costing and percentage of completion concepts.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • The Accounting Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree preferred.
