The Accounting Manager will be responsible for all areas related to the daily accounting operations and financial reporting. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


Responsibilities:

  • The Accounting Manager will record and analyze the company’s financial information and ensure it’s done in a timely manner.
  • Manage the monthly close process and financial reporting and analysis.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Support budget and forecasting activities.
  • Manage daily accounting functions such as customer invoicing and reviewing daily cash receipts.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operations Procedures for various accounting operation processes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls.
  • Provide support necessary for the annual audit, and handle auditor inquiries and information requests as appropriate.
  • The Accounting Manager will supervise Accounting department personnel.
  • Other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:


Requirements

  • The Accounting Manager will have 5+ years’ applied accounting experience. Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • The Accounting Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
