The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing and other accounting related activities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Accounting Supervisor will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.

  • Payroll processing and reporting.

  • Analyze accounting issues and provide feedback to team members.

  • Plan, prioritize, assign, coordinate and monitor the work activities of the team.

  • Ensure staff knowledge and development through training, coaching and mentoring.

  • Travel and expense administration and reporting.

  • Collections and dispute resolution.

  • Support a system of internal controls and maintain appropriate segregation of duties.

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable staff.

  • The Accounting Supervisor will perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Accounting Supervisor will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • The Accounting Supervisor will have 4+ years’ public accounting experience.   

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting systems. Experience with ERP systems implementations a plus.

  • The Accounting Supervisor will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • CPA required.
