Job Description

Our client in Delafield is currently seeking a full time Administrative/Accounting Assistant. This position is contract to hire. The individual in this role must be a quick learner, comfortable in a formal environment, flexible to work on weekends to help with weekend events and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounts receivable
  • Maintain accounts payable
  • Interact with customers and manage conflict resolution 
  • Assist in sorting incoming mail in HR Director’s absence
  • Apply postage to the outgoing mail
  • Take outgoing mail to the post office daily
  • When necessary, participate in events after business hours and/or on the weekends
  • Assist with other related tasks as necessary

 Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting experience preferred
  • Must have two years of accounts receivable and accounts payable experience
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience using 10-key
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is preferred
