Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the management team and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



Responsibilities:




•        The Assistant Controller will prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.



•        Oversee accounting and reporting activities to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of results.



•        Ensure compliance with local GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards and company policies and reporting requirements.



•        Manage, coordinate and review the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements along with the overall audit process.



•        Anticipate the needs of internal customers; focus on work processes that deliver consistent, accurate, timely, clear and actionable financial information while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.



•        Establish and maintain systems and controls, which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.



•        Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls.



•        Support the forecasting and budgeting activities of various management entities.



•        Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies, as well as regional and global compliance and support requirements.



•        The Assistant Controller will perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Assistant Controller will possess the following:



Requirements




•        The Assistant Controller will have 5+ years’ accounting management experience. Public accounting experience preferred.



•        Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel. Experience with ERP systems preferred.



•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.



•        The Assistant Controller will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.



•        CPA required.
