The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Controller will prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

  • Prepare monthly reports of P&L results, forecasts, budgets and assist with strategic planning.

  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activity.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close process.

  • Direct preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Interpret and explain cost changes to management.

  • Determine depreciation rates of assets and advise management on operational adjustments due to tax revisions.

  • Manage internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance requirements.

  • The Controller will perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Controller should possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • The Controller will have 5+ years’ accounting/finance experience. Some public accounting experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products; specifically Excel.

  • The Controller will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • CPA a plus.
