Corporate Consolidations Manager



Our client is a large manufacturing company that is looking for a Corporate Consolidations Manager to join their team at their corporate headquarters.  This person will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of reporting including corporate financial planning & analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The Corporate Consolidations Manager will be responsible for a variety of financial reporting activities and accounting responsibilities. The Corporate Consolidations Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Corporate Consolidations Manager will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.

  • Compile annual budgets and forecasts and prepare consolidated reporting and analysis to senior management.

  • Review, monitor, and recommend ways to improve continuous evaluation of business processes and procedures to improve efficiencies in the monthly and quarterly close processes.

  • Analyze financial statements for business trends.

  • Proactively research technical accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance with current and prospective accounting standards.

  • Prepare senior management reporting and analysis on financial results and metrics.

  • Oversee and assist with the annual audit and benefit plan audits.

  • Ad-hoc management reporting and financial analysis.

  • The Corporate Consolidations Manager will perform other special projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Corporate Consolidations Manager will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • The Corporate Consolidations Manager will have 7+ years general accounting experience.  Previous public accounting experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and expert knowledge of GAAP.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong computer skills including advanced working knowledge of Excel.

  • The Corporate Consolidations Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • CPA preferred.
