Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

  • Help prepare and modify budget templates and various inputs for the budget process.

  • Modify and assist with preparation and analysis of operational KPIs through dashboard and other reporting.

  • Process corporate bank deposits and general journal entries.

  • Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.

  • Summarize and analyze accounts receivables and revenue including analyzing, evaluating, and identifying problems involving cash reconciliations.

  • Complete on-site and internet bank account reconciliations.

  • Assist with gathering information for year-end audit.

  • The Financial Analyst will work on special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • The Financial Analyst will have 2+ years’ relevant experience. Knowledge or experience of the budgeting process a plus.

  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel. Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus.

  • The Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
