The Financial Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day financial support, reporting financial results, and other reporting and analytical projects. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Financial Analyst will conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.

  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

  • Produce backlog, revenue and margin reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis to drive management decision making.

  • Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.

  • Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.

  • Develop methods and tools to support financial data collection, performance modeling, statistical analysis, and complex reporting.

  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

  • Various ad-hoc reporting as requested by management to support the analysis of business trends.

  • The Financial Analyst will perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • The Financial Analyst will have 3+ years accounting and financial analysis experience.  Public accounting experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create analyses and reports using a variety of tools.

  • Experience with revenue recognition and percentage of completion a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong computer skills including advanced working knowledge of Excel.

  • The Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
