The Financial Analyst will provide a mix of financial reporting and other analytical projects to the Corporate Account and Sales teams.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:




RESPONSIBILITIES



  • The Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

  • Work closely with legal, marketing, sales operations, and other internal departments as needed to support the corporate account and street sales teams.

  • Work directly with Sales Vice Presidents, Corporate Account & Sales Managers, and marketing to provide financial support in the areas of deal analysis and contract negotiation, proforma P&L's, profit management, pricing strategy and execution, contract management and rebate analysis.

  • Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.

  • Coordinate the existing corporate account finance policies and procedures with new acquisition, including deal reviews, pricing strategy, profit management, promotion and standardization of company commercial terms, and contract review and management.

  • Review new and existing business quotes and pricing requests for alignment with profitability targets.

  • Complete ad hoc reporting as needed.

  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

  • The Financial Analyst will perform other duties as needed.


Job Requirements

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED




  • The Financial Analyst will have 2+ years’ accounting and/or finance experience. Corporate/operational finance or strategy consulting experience preferred.

  • Prior experience working on commercial or sales finance preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting systems.  Experience with SAP a plus.

  • The Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Operations.
