Financial Analyst


Our client is a growing manufacturing company in the Greater Madison Area looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team.  This position is newly created due to growth of their Finance department! Working closely with the CFO, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Financial Analyst will conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
  • Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Study trends on depreciation, working capital, investments, rates of return, and financial and expense comparisons based on profit and loss statements and income statements.
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
  • The Financial Analyst will perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • The Financial Analyst will have 3+ years’ experience; manufacturing industry experience a plus but not required.
  • A solid understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • The Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred.
