Overview:



The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will manage all financial reporting for all GAAP, statutory and management reporting. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



Responsibilities:



  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.

  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

  • Support enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities as part of a larger FP&A team.

  • Work as the primary finance representative on the contract management teams for each of the company’s government contracts.

  • Develop financial models to support bids for existing and new government contracts, change orders and estimate at completion.

  • Continually assess pricing initiatives; recommend changes to increase effectiveness.

  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

  • Partner with the company’s accounting team to facilitate compliance with all government monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.

  • Manage government and prime contractor audit requests and questions.

  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will possess the following:


 


Requirements



  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting and/or accounting policy or government contracting experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge with standard reporting and financial analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will have a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting.

  • CPA preferred.
