The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for all financial planning and analysis functions for the company. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

•        The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.

•        Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.

•        Assist in the facilitation of the annual strategic planning process.

•        Assist with the monthly forecasting process based on business metrics and measure performance for actual vs plan and forecast.

•        Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.

•        Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.

•        Develop methodologies, dashboards, and models for business unit budgeting and reporting.

•        Assist with developing presentations and analytical material to be presented to senior and executive management.

•        Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

•        Overall responsibility for the capital expenditure request process with the business units and perform analysis on capital investment returns.

•        The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will possess the following:

 

Requirements

•        The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will have a 5-10 years’ related experience. Manufacturing industry experience required. International experience preferred.

•        Demonstrated leadership and partnering skills, including success in influencing outside of direct reporting line.

•        Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and technical accounting.

•        Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

•        Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products and advanced knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP strongly preferred.

•        The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.  MBA preferred.

•        CPA preferred.
