Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Our client is a specialty service provider company that is currently looking for Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will manage and lead the financial planning and analysis team.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
  • Assist in the facilitation of the annual strategic planning process.
  • Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Manage and oversee the financial forecasting and annual budgeting process.
  • Responsible for capital expenditure request process and perform analysis on capital investment returns.
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
  • Lead analysis, selection and implementation of new financial planning, consolidation and reporting software.
  • Develop presentations and analyses to be presented to executive management and board of directors.
  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will possess the following:

  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will have 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Experience managing and leading a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with standard reporting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will have a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred.
