Our client is successful financial services company that is currently looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team. This position will be a blend of financial accounting along with a variety of special projects. The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


  • The Financial Reporting Accountant will assist with the preparation of financial statements.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for certain subsidiaries.

  • Assist with recording adjusting journal entries.

  • Participate in the preparation of annual earnings, operating budgets and goals and plans for these subsidiaries.

  • Assist in the completion of monthly sales reporting.

  • Respond to inquiries of internal and external clients by providing feedback/documentation to financial statement users regarding internal/external audit matters.

  • Cross-train job responsibilities with other financial reporting accountants.

  • The Financial Reporting Accountant will participate in special projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

The Financial Reporting Accountant will possess the following:


  • The Financial Reporting Accountant will have 2+ years’ financial reporting experience; public accounting experience strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of GAAP principles as they apply to accounting systems, operations and financial statements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills including Excel.

  • The Financial Reporting Accountant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • CPA and/or pursuing CPA certification preferred.
