Financial Reporting Manager

Overview:



The Financial Reporting Manager will manage all financial reporting for all GAAP, statutory and management reporting. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



Responsibilities:




•        The Financial Reporting Manager will manage the preparation and communication of GAAP financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.



•        Develop working relationships cross-divisionally and with operational leadership.



•        Assist internal and external audit staff with their annual financial audit.



•        Complete internal controls risk assessment and documentation for financial reporting processes.



•        Facilitate the development of test plans for compound and complimentary internal controls in accordance with industry regulations and corporate standards.



•        Manage and review the preparation of the industry’s primary financial and statistical report and the associated supplemental filings for all divisions of the company.



•        Represent division on corporate-wide committees and projects and often serve as project leader.



•        The Financial Reporting Manager will perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

The Financial Reporting Manager will possess the following:


 


Requirements




•        The Financial Reporting Manager will have 5+ years’ financial reporting experience. Public accounting experience preferred.



•        Management/supervisory experience is required.



•        Strong computer skills including advanced experience in Excel and demonstrated knowledge in financial reporting tools.



•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and influence leaders throughout the organization.



•        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.



•        CPA or CPA eligible required.
