Payroll Coordinator

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for administering company payroll processes.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Payroll Coordinator will compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, and insurance to be withheld, and employee identification number, from time sheets and other records.

  • Accurately apply company’s policies and benefits in payroll.

  • Prepare and proof payroll data for Payroll Specialist’s approval.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll journal entries to the Finance department.

  • Monitor set-up of HSA accounts and process employer contributions and HAS participant files.

  • Coordinate and communicate all wage adjustment and levy notices.

  • Process month-end payroll reports for the Finance department.

  • Process monthly sales commission and awards reports.

  • Prepare, communicate and process fiscal year-end vacation and calendar year personal holiday payouts.

  • Develop and maintain software knowledge, application, troubleshoot and train staff needs, and assist with update implementation.

  • Continual knowledge development of payroll related regulations and application of rules.

  • The Payroll Coordinator will perform other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

The Payroll Coordinator will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • The Payroll Coordinator will have 2+ years’ payroll processing experience.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office products.

  • The Payroll Coordinator will have an Associates degree preferred.
