Regional Operations Controller

Our client is a growing manufacturing company that is currently looking for a Regional Operations Controller to join their team. This is a newly created role due to company growth! This position can be located at either their southern Wisconsin facility or northern Illinois facility. This position will offer the opportunity to manage two large facilities. The Regional Operations Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


  • The Regional Operations Controller will prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

  • Dual responsibility to partner with and support a business unit and all North America operations.

  • Ensure timely decision-making and financial guidance through financial strategic and periodic planning.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close process.

  • Direct preparation of budgets for business units and operations functions.

  • The Regional Operations Controller will coordinate and lead monthly financial and job status review meetings.

  • Guide and mentor facility Controllers.

  • Other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

The Regional Operations Controller will possess the following:


  • The Regional Operations Controller will have 8+ relevant years’ experience; manufacturing industry experience required.

  • Demonstrated leadership/management experience overseeing an accounting department.

  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.

  • The Regional Operations Controller will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
