Our client is a global professional services company that is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team at their Corporate Headquarters. The Senior Accountant will be involved in general accounting functions for the company. The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • The Senior Accountant interprets operating results as they affect the organization and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Review and analysis of monthly statements to identify trends, patterns, margins, etc.
  • General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting duties.
  • Analyze variances in general ledger accounts versus budget.
  • Responsible for the timely generation of numerous monthly closing entries contributing to the accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
  • Responsible for monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Cultivate strong working relationship with other US controllership teams and ensure proper recording of intercompany transactions.
  • Assist with SOX walkthroughs and internal control procedures and testing.
  • Provide support necessary for the annual audit and assist with auditor inquiries and information requests as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including identifying efficiencies.
  • The Senior Accountant will perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:


  • The Senior Accountant will have 2+ years’ accounting experience; public accounting experience strongly preferred.  
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Advanced computer skills including advanced Excel skills.
  • The Senior Accountant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
