Senior Financial Analyst (KS26294)

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a mix of financial reporting and other analytical projects.  Their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Perform monthly financial planning & analysis functions including preparing the monthly revenue forecast, the monthly forecast for various cost centers, as well as creating and analyzing financial reports, cost centers and accounts.
  • Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Assist in management and improvement of month-end forecasting procedures.
  • Coordinate with different departments to develop reports to facilitate improved forecasting and management reporting.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring sales pipelines and commission plans.
  • Complete ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will perform other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will have 5+ years’ accounting and/or finance experience. Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting and consolidations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting systems.  
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred.
