Senior Financial Analyst (KW26539)

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial information and strategic recommendations to multiple teams throughout the company.  The Senior Financial Analyst’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
  • Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process.
  • Prepares ad-hoc analyses appropriate for all levels of the organization.
  • Participate in the pricing function by providing strategic guidance and analysis.
  • Ensure pricing programs and analytics are implemented in support of sales development and in alignment with the company’s short- and long-term operating objectives.
  • Suggest and implement improvements which will streamline existing processes and procedures.
  • Support systems to track metrics/key performance indicators to measure success and deliver profitable business growth.
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
  • Be a business partner to assigned clients and internal departments.
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will have 5+ years’ financial planning and analysis experience. Healthcare industry experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
