Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a large global manufacturing company that is growing and they are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.  With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization.  The company boasts a team-oriented culture, great benefits and provides its’ employees with the tools and training necessary to succeed.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the consolidation and analysis of financial statements. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations for bad debt, trade AR, unbilled AR and advance payments.
  • Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Assist with cash forecast process, including development of key forecast assumptions and real-time monitoring of actuals.
  • Track corporate expenses and meet with key business partners/department leads to ensure proper timing and expected amounts for expenditures.
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
  • Assist Finance Manager with financial modeling tied to financing transactions and deal structures.
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with other duties and ad-hoc reporting as assigned.

Job Requirements

The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:


  • The Senior Financial Analyst will have 4-6 years’ related experience.
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.  Experience with SAP or BPC a plus.
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
