The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


  • The Senior Revenue Accountant will assist with the preparation of financial statements.

  • Analyze, identify and resolve revenue recognition and costing issues/exposures.

  • Collect and coordinate weekly and monthly sales from various source systems for all company locations.

  • Communicate with other departments to ensure understanding of proper revenue and cost recognition.

  • Adjust reported sales and invoices to match payments.

  • Ensure that projects design and any changes in systems related to revenue recognition and project accounting deliver the functionality required for proper accounting treatment in compliance with US GAAP.

  • Analyze and interpret worldwide revenue at month-end, quarter-end and year-end to verify accuracy with US GAAP. Adjust revenue/cost as appropriate for accurate reporting.

  • Reconcile project related balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.

  • Maintain late location and missing sales tracking and reporting database; process journal entry accruals at month-end; and coordinate with management and FP&A.

  • Responsible for audits related to revenue recognition and project accounting.

  • The Senior Revenue Accountant will participate in special projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

The Senior Revenue Accountant will possess the following:


  • The Senior Revenue Accountant will have 7+ years’ related experience in accounting. Public accounting experience desired.

  • Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements and knowledge of revenue recognition accounting required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills including advance knowledge of Excel. Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred.

  • The Senior Revenue Accountant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
