Senior Tax Analyst (CS25639)

The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for federal, state, and local income tax compliance, income tax accounting, tax planning, and more.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for filing reports, tax returns and making recurring payments.

  • Completion of federal, state and local income tax returns, franchise tax returns, estimates and extensions.

  • Assist in analyzing and implementing recent tax reform measures.

  • Responsible for annual and quarterly income tax accounting including 10K and 10Q scheduled and disclosures.

  • Assist with US transfer pricing processes and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls as they relate to income tax.

  • Lead or assist as needed on domestic governmental audits.

  • Assist with M&A income tax issues such as due diligence, structuring, integration and purchase accounting for domestic transactions.

  • Manage tax projects and studies performed by outside consultants.

  • The Senior Tax Analyst will perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

The Senior Tax Analyst will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



  • The Senior Tax Analyst will have 5+ years’ progressive tax experience. Public accounting and/or corporate tax experience is required. Manufacturing industry experience a preferred.

  • Strong tax research and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced computer skills including Excel.

  • The Senior Tax Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Masters of Taxation a plus.

  • CPA preferred.
