Job Description

Senior HR Generalist
 
Our client is a leading manufacturing company in Waukesha County.  The company is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to lead an HR team and focus in the areas of benefits, employee relations and recruiting. There is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department, including possible upside to HR Manager long-term.  Ideal candidate will be a self-started with the desire and drive to grow within HR. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Employee recruitment, hiring, transfers, training and promotions
  • Develop and conduct new hire orientation programs
  • Consult management on matters of legal or regulatory compliance for HR, safety or training
  • Manage 401k TPA
  • Audit monthly benefit statements
  • Workers compensation claims/reporting
  • Back-up for payroll processing
  • Responsible for HR communications and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
 
 

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing setting
  • Excellent communication skills
