Working in a fast-paced environment, the Tax Manager will assist in a variety of tax areas and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


  • The Tax Manager will establish and manage corporate tax related procedures and documentation.

  • Manage the preparation of tax account reconciliations, documentation necessary for annual reporting and maintaining accuracy and integrity of the general ledger with respect to all taxes.

  • Oversee and coordinate preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries.

  • Manage internal policies regarding tax compliance requirements.

  • Identify, research and implement tax planning strategies and structures relating to mergers and acquisitions, state apportionment and nexus, foreign restructuring, transfer pricing and credits and incentives.

  • Assist in managing the company’s global tax planning and transactional tax issues, including review of tax implications related expansion of global markets.

  • Review and/or prepare documentation of the ASC 740 analysis and disclosure requirements for SEC reporting on a quarterly and year-end basis.

  • Act as a tax subject matter expert and resource for the organization in regards to both federal and state tax compliance.

  • Assist domestic and foreign division with resolution to tax specific inquiries.

  • Perform research on tax issues and provide recommendations to the management team.

  • The Tax Manager will perform other tax projects and analysis as needed.

Job Requirements

The Tax Manager will possess the following:


  • The Tax Manager will have 5+ years’ federal tax experience. State tax experience a plus.

  • Thorough technical knowledge of US tax rules and accounting for income taxes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience with tax software.

  • The Tax Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax. MST a plus.

  • CPA preferred.
